Welcome to Our World Mixers -Loaders & Ground Operations

 Our mixers/loaders are an essential part of every agricultural application.


The ground crew is responsible for preparing materials, supporting aircraft loading and keeping the operation moving safely and efficiently. During high-volume application periods, the performance of the ground crew directly affects the productivity of the entire operation.


This is a hands-on outdoor position that requires attention to detail, physical capability, good communication and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

   

  • Assist with the preparation and mixing of agricultural products according to provided instructions
  • Accurately measure products and water for each aircraft load
  • Safely transfer and load mixtures into the aircraft application system
  • Operate pumps, hoses, valves, mixing equipment and related ground-support equipment
  • Maintain communication with pilots and other members of the ground crew
  • Keep mixing and loading areas clean, organized and safe
  • Assist with equipment setup, breakdown and cleaning
  • Maintain accurate load and application-support records when required
  • Follow pesticide-label requirements, PPE requirements and company safety procedures
  • Assist with movement and positioning of support vehicles and equipment
  • Help inspect ground-support equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Support early-morning, weekend and seasonal operations when agricultural conditions require them

Preferred Qualifications

 

 Previous agricultural, pesticide-handling, aviation or equipment experience is helpful but may not be required for the right candidate.

Applicants should be:

  • Dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable working outdoors
  • Able to work around helicopters and agricultural equipment
  • Able to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Comfortable handling hoses, pumps and ground-support equipment
  • Able to communicate clearly in a high-noise operational environment
  • Willing to work variable and seasonal schedules
  • Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
  • Able to work effectively as part of a small team

Training may be provided for qualified candidates depending on the position and operational requirements.


Because agricultural applications are dependent on weather, crop conditions and treatment timing, schedules can vary. 


Early mornings, long days, weekends and periods of increased seasonal activity should be expected.
