Agricultural helicopter pilots are responsible for the safe, precise and efficient execution of aerial application operations.
This is a specialized flying position requiring strong aircraft-handling skills, situational awareness, sound aeronautical decision-making and the ability to operate professionally in a demanding agricultural environment.
Applicants should possess the FAA certificates and ratings appropriate to the position and aircraft being operated.
Agricultural helicopter experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with substantial commercial helicopter experience who are interested in transitioning into agricultural aviation may also be considered depending on experience and operational needs.
California agricultural aviation licensing and pesticide-related qualifications applicable to the position are preferred or must be obtained before conducting applicable operations.
Above all, we're looking for pilots with good judgment, discipline and a safety-first attitude who understand that agricultural flying requires precision rather than unnecessary risk.
