Our administrative and office team helps keep BladePath Aviation organized, responsive and ready to support daily agricultural aviation operations.


This position serves as an important connection between growers, Pest Control Advisers, pilots, ground crews, vendors and management. Agricultural aviation is highly time-sensitive, so strong communication, organization and attention to detail are essential.


The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities and adapting to a workload that can change quickly during peak application seasons.

Responsibilities

  

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails and customer inquiries
  • Communicate professionally with growers, Pest Control Advisers, vendors and operational personnel
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating aerial application requests
  • Collect and organize job information, field locations, application details and customer documentation
  • Prepare estimates, work orders and customer invoices
  • Assist with accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Enter and maintain customer, job and application information
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical business records
  • Assist with payroll, employee timekeeping and personnel records
  • Coordinate vendor invoices, purchase documentation and general bookkeeping records
  • Maintain aircraft, vehicle and equipment records as directed
  • Assist with pesticide-use reporting and other agricultural application documentation
  • Track business licenses, permits, registrations, insurance documents and renewal dates
  • Assist management with regulatory and compliance documentation
  • Maintain confidential employee, customer and company information
  • Coordinate with pilots and ground crews regarding schedules and operational changes
  • Assist with purchasing, inventory and office supplies
  • Perform general administrative duties necessary to support daily operations

Preferred Qualifications


 Previous administrative or office experience is preferred. Experience in agriculture, aviation, pesticide application, trucking, bookkeeping or another regulated industry is especially valuable but not required.

Applicants should be:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Dependable and professional
  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules
  • Proficient with computers, email and standard office software
  • Comfortable learning industry-specific software and reporting systems
  • Able to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Comfortable working independently while also supporting a small operational team
  • Able to handle confidential business and employee information appropriately
  • Willing to learn the terminology and operational requirements of agricultural aviation

Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, payroll, accounts receivable or general bookkeeping is a plus!
